Updates from Working Groups
A recent research report, “Intimate
Partner Violence in Omaha,” found that the greater Omaha area has an extensive
network of service providers addressing the needs of Intimate Partner Violence
(IPV) survivors and has made strides to increase collaboration and outreach,
but that opportunities exist to enhance service delivery. As a result of the
research, three community groups were formed to look at gaps, collaboration and
outreach and come up with ideas for improvements. The groups convened March
2, 2011, to present their findings.
