RESEARCH STUDIES
The Women's Fund supports and encourages programs that improve the lives of women and girls in the Omaha area. To guide its efforts, the Women's Fund conducts extensive research on the socioeconomic issues and opportunities facing Omaha-area women. The Fund also provides the community with information on the status of its women and girls through its reports and publications.
The Women's Fund is known for reliable, respected research that pinpoints and enlightens about issues impacting women's well-being. It is the foundation of our work and meets several important objectives:
- To provide a qualitative and quantitative overview of issues facing women and
girls in the Greater Omaha area. - To aid the Women's Fund Board in making decisions on grants.
- To guide the Women's Fund on the next phases of its work.
- To advise corporate leaders, civic policy makers and others charged with
allocating resources available for philanthropy. - To provide the community with current, reliable data to make a compelling
case for support of programs targeting women and girls.
