Alexa is the current Weitz Fellow for the Women’s Fund. She graduated from Carleton College in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a minor in history. During her time at Carleton, Alexa served as a volunteer SafeLine advocate for her local domestic abuse shelter. Her work with the Women’s Fund will primarily be with the Freedom from Violence initiative. She is motivated to find ways to integrate trauma-informed practices into the legal system through collaboration with survivors.
