Vimary “Vee” Valdés, joined the Women’s Fund March 2019. As the office manager, she works to ensure our office operations are running smoothly.
Before joining the Women’s Fund, Vee worked as a paralegal in the legal industry for about five years. Prior to that, she was a freelance hair & makeup artist in the adult industry. She is also a proud Latina, queer, single mom focused on raising the next generation of independent and capable women of her family through her daughter. Vee is currently enrolled in college with her sights on using her education to help the sex work and queer communities.
Vee is passionate about intersectional feminism and how important it is to the advancement of marginalized communities and the need for sexual education for our upcoming generations as a method of empowerment as well as art, cats and baking.
