Best thing about living/working in Omaha?

As a mom of two little boys I love that Omaha provides a lot of rich and fun experiences for families while also maintaining that intimate feeling. The zoo is one of our favorite places! I also love getting to come to downtown Omaha to work in a creative space.

When you’re not working, what’s your favorite thing to do?

Definitely spending time with my boys. I also love to cook, whether it’s baking or making meals I enjoy being in the kitchen. Vacations on the beach are my happiest place of all.

What’s one goal you hope to accomplish within the next year?

I hope that we can invest in a network of services for survivors of sex trafficking. I would like to see those services fully functioning and accessible.

What’s the most interesting or unusual job you’ve ever had?

My very first job in the small town that I lived in was to deliver phonebooks. You would get paid based on how many books people took, so I would always ask if they needed another phonebook. My incredible mother would drive me all around town to do this.

What are you reading or listening to these days?

I am reading the “Outlander” series. I also listen to Serial podcasts.

As far as music, I listen to a lot of Kidz Bop. J

If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would you like to see cast as you?

Connie Britton. I feel like she always plays this amazingly strong person who when faced with a tough situation always does what is right, stands up for the right thing, and always shows kindness, love, and support to others.
