Jen Pavkov is the Creative Director for the Women’s Fund of Omaha. Jen joined the Women’s Fund in March of 2015. Before coming to the Women’s Fund, she was the Creative Director at Heartland Family Service.

As the Creative Director, Jen is responsible for leveraging the Women’s Fund brand through marketing, public relations, advertising and social media. Jen holds a bachelor of fine arts (BFA) degree from Columbia College with an emphasis in painting and drawing and a minor in psychology. She is passionate about using art and design

as a vehicle for social change.

Jen created this cover by hand with pencil and markers. She used various sketches from stickers, buttons and graphics that she has directed or designed during her tenure at the Women’s Fund. Jen strives to create graphics that inspire you to take action and her favorite thing is spotting one of her designs in the wild. These are some of her favorite pieces over the past 10 years.

Jen is also a mother to three—Kellar (14), Vivienne (11) and Bear (8). Jen is a true weirdo who is always hopeful that her weirdness will inspire your weirdness, and vice versa. She’s also very competitive and would love to try to out-weird others as a competitive sport. Jen loves to make people laugh and feels that her biggest contribution to the work of the Women’s Fund is being able to make the most brilliant women she knows crack up, even in the hardest of times. For this reason, she believes being silly is sacred. W
