Tonight (Tuesday, July 21) at 7:30 pm, the Legislature will spend their very limited remaining legislative time on LB 814 which bans a method of abortion care. There is still time to drop this bad policy that is medically not necessary and that puts politics between a woman and their doctor.
A person’s health, not politics, should guide important medical decisions at every point in a pregnancy. We trust women to make health care decisions that are best for themselves and their families. LB 814 bans a method of abortion care and pushes reproductive health care further out of reach for Nebraskans.
Contact your Senator (email and phone) and let them know you OPPOSE LB 814 and want them to prioritize policy that will support Nebraskans in rebuilding from this pandemic with the limited legislative days remaining.
