Women’s Fund Employee Spotlight: Mia Strubel Iram

Meet Mia Strubel Iram, our newest Weitz Fellow at the Women’s Fund!

Mia is a recent graduate of Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, where she studied Political Science and International Relations. While at Carleton, Mia worked at the Center for Community and Civic Engagement in the Peace, Conflict and Democracy cohort, helping to plan and facilitate community conversations on different issues facing the Carleton and larger Northfield community. Mia was also involved in abortion rights efforts on campus, serving as a leader in the Students for Reproductive Freedom group and a campus ambassador for Pro-Choice Minnesota. Mia is eager to support Women’s Fund goals of addressing gender inequity and creating spaces to discuss difficult issues pertaining to gender.

In her free time, Mia enjoys running, cooking and attempting to brew kombucha!

We are so excited to continue getting to know Mia, and we asked her a few questions so you can get to know her, too!
